Türkiyat Araştırmaları Enstitüsü Müdürü Prof. Dr. Fikret Turan, Almanya’nın Mainz Üniversitesinde 19 Mart 2016 tarihinde büyük Türkolog Prof. Dr. Lars Johanson’un 80. doğum gününde gerçlekleştirilen Turkic Linguistics: The State of the Art (Türk Dil Bilimi: Alanın Ulaştığı Son Nokta) isimli çalıştayda “Methodological Issues in the Monographs of Turkish Grammar and Syntax Used as Textbooks in Turkey” (Türkiye’de Ders Kitabı Olarak Kullanılan Gramer ve Sözdizimi Eserlerinde Görülen Metodoloji Sorunları) isimli bildiri sunmuştur.
